2025 DEFC South Winter Competitive Program (U7-U18)

Don't let your soccer skills go cold over the Winter season!

Our Winter Competitive program provides continued training and development, January through February.  Training sessions will include technical skill development and small sided games and activities.  Sessions are focused around being comfortable on the ball and having the ability to create space while dribbling.   We will challenge players skill level in tight situations in order to increase their speed of play, creativity in possession, first touch and confidence on the ball.  

Program is not limited to current Delaware FC competitive players.  Any players interested in experiencing the Delaware FC competitive program are welcome to sign up. Players will be separated and trained based age and/or level.

The Winter Program is run by Delaware FC Leadership and Training Staff

U7-U10 Players Winter Competitive Details

7 Training Dates:

    • Sundays @ Cape Henlopen High School starting 1/5
    • 2015 through 2019 Boys: 10:00 - 11:15 AM
    • 2015 through 2019 Girls: 11:15 AM - 12:30 PM

Playday Scrimmage Events

    • Sunday 1/19 @ Cape Henlopen High School
    • Saturday 2/22 in Middletown, Location TBD

8 Futsal Match Days

    • Weekdays starting 1/7, Tuesday or Wednesday Evening @ Consortium

Tournament

    • DEFC Winter Futsal Classic: Saturday 2/1 or Sunday 2/16

Winter Program Cost = $400

Cost:

  • Includes gym rental fees, training staff payments, admin fees, tournament fees, etc.

7 Training Dates:

    • Sundays @ Cape Henlopen High School starting 1/5
    • 2011 through 2014 Boys: 12:30 - 1:45 PM
    • 2011 through 2014 Girls: 11:15 AM -12:30 PM
    • High School Girls & Boys: 1:45 - 3:00 PM

Full Sided Scrimmages

    • Sunday 1/26 @ Cape Henlopen High School
    • Saturday 2/22 @ Cape Henlopen High School

8 Futsal Match Days
