We will NOT hold TOPSoccer in Spring 2021. We hope for a safe return of the program soon.

TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities sponsored by US Youth Soccer. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age 4-19, who has a cognitive or physical disability. TOPSoccer’s goal is to enable our young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the Delaware FC Hockessin Soccer family.

Our TOPSoccer Program concentrates on development, training, and providing meaningful participation rather than on competition. Practices will be a combination of skill training and small-sided games. For the players who are unable to participate in a team environment due to medical reasons, we also offer a skills program that is rewarding, challenging and fun!

The TOPSoccer Program takes place in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Fall and Spring sessions are held at our main complex, Smith Fields, located off of Evanson Road or at Paper Mill Park with Winter session held at the PAL center located at 7259 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707.  New players are welcome to join in the fun at any time during the season!

There is no fee to register for TOPSoccer! Click on the "Register Now" link below to get started.

Players should bring shin guards, sneakers, a soccer ball and water.

Along with our coaches, we will also have “Team Buddies” working with our TOPSoccer athletes. Our “Team Buddies” may be players from our Instructional and/or Travel Programs or parents who donate their time to work with our special players. If you know of anyone who would make a great “Team Buddy”, please have them sign up on our Volunteer signup link--> Click to Volunteer

On the last day of the Fall and Spring season, we celebrate with a pizza party inside our clubhouse. All players will receive either a medal or trophy!
