GENERAL INFORMATION

Recreational Season Information

Players are assigned to teams and teams practice one or two evenings per week under the supervision of volunteer parent coaches. Your child's coach will determine the day(s), times, and location.  U8's will have weekly games against other DEFC U8 teams on Saturdays. League games are played in age appropriate small-sided formats. 

U8 Players are required to wear a DEFC uniform.  

* Delaware FC Hockessin is a membership/volunteer organization - $50 paid at registration and is reimbursable with 3 hours of volunteering during each season (per player/per season).

Uniform/Equipment Requirements

  • NO JEWELRY, no hard hair barrettes, no casts.
  • Soccer cleats are recommended.
  • Shin guards under socks
  • Size 3 ball
  • Delaware FC Hockessin Jerseys black and sky blue, black shorts and black socks
