Recreational Season Information

The goal of the this age group is to be single gender (boys and girls). Age group may adjust to COED, if necessary.

Children will be introduced to team play through fun games and basic skill drills. For most children it will be their first exposure to team sports. MiniMites teams practice two evenings per week under the supervision of volunteer parent coaches. Your child's coach will determine the days, times, and location.  They also will have 2 to 4 "Play Days" during the season where they play small sided games on a Saturday Morning or Early Afternoon.

* Delaware FC Hockessin is a membership/volunteer organization - $50 paid at registration and is reimbursable with 3 hours of volunteering during each season (per player/per season).

Uniform/Equipment Requirements

  • NO JEWELRY, no hard hair barrettes, no toe cleats, no casts.
  • Soccer cleats are recommended but not required.
  • Shin guards under socks
  • Size 3 ball
  • A Delaware FC Hockessin t-shirt will be provided
